2016 Home Decor Color Trends

September 23, 2015 By miraclemethod

Hooray, it is officially the first day of Fall!Behr Color Trends 2016 Blog Graphic

Every year around this time, paint companies release color palettes for upcoming trends. While having a neutral color palette in your home for big ticket items like floors, countertops and large furniture makes sense, you can still follow trends by adding affordable accents like:  paint, throw pillows, lampshades and other fun accessories.

Behr Paint just released their 2016 Color Trends and the colors are bold, high-contrast, and full of dimension.

This dining room is a great example of being bold with accessories and paint. The use of bright colors from the chairs, drapes, lamps and framed mirror make the room a work of art.

Miracle Method Helps You Get Top Dollar When Selling Your Home

August 25, 2015 By miraclemethod

If you are trying to sell your home and are looking to update your bathroom before you put it on the market, there are a few things you should consider. For starters, you DON’T have to rip out and replace your old tub and sink.  Traditional replacement remodeling is very time consuming and you can expect your bathroom to be out of use for several weeks or even months. Replacement also happens to be very expensive, the average cost of a bathroom remodel can ranges between $5,000 and $10,000.  If you’re looking for a remodeling solution that’s flexible, time-efficient and affordable, avoid any process that involves removal and replacement.

At Miracle Method, we can take any worn, damaged, hard to clean unit, and repair and refinish it, adding 10 – 15 years to the life of the fixture and make it look like new.  Not only is refinishing/repairing a bathtub or sink much less expensive than replacing it, but it is also much greener, keeping the excess tub or sink out of a landfill.

Realtors around the country  know that bathrooms and kitchens in a home can make or break a sale.  Homeowners are encouraged  to make these upgrades, as it adds significant value to the home. Notably, HGTV’s Lisa LaPorta from Designed to Sell tells viewers that “Tub refinishing is a great improvement to make, and it saves you a lot of money in labor because you don’t have to pay someone to rip out your old bathtub.”

If you are looking to get top dollar when your selling your home without spending the big bucks give Miracle Method a call 855-212-7337.

Bathroom Remodeling Without Removal or Replacement

August 15, 2015 By miraclemethod

Instead of remodeling when your bathroom becomes outdated, consider refinishing instead. Bathroom remodeling might seem like a good idea, especially if your fixtures are outdated in form as well as function. Sometimes, homeowners will pay attention to certain trends and then incorporate them into their home design without really asking themselves if they like them or not. While watching current trends is a great way to find inspiration, many trends become outdated after just a few years. If you are going for an on-trend look, but don’t want to invest in a full remodel, refinishing is a great alternative.

Remodeling your bathroom can get quite expensive. In addition to paying for the installation of new fixtures and materials, you’ll also have to pay to remove old fixtures. Refinishing your bathroom is an easy way to update the look while also repairing flaws such as cracks in your fixtures, backsplash or countertops. In fact, using a beautiful Natural Accents stone-look finish instead of installing new laminate, fiberglass, tile or other materials is an easy way to save money without sacrificing quality.

If that wasn’t enough, using Miracle Method to refinish your bathroom only takes a day or two. Other bathroom remodeling projects can often take weeks to finish. Having constant construction in your home for this long, and being unable to use your bathroom can be stressful. You should also remember that using Miracle Method as opposed to remodeling is a more sustainable option as well, since you’ll be reusing your old fixtures and materials instead of throwing them away.
