The first step involves a cleaning process to remove contaminants such as soap scum, body oil and dirt. The next step is to float the grout. This entails using a squeegee to evenly spread a small amount of grout over the surface to fill in gaps and even out grout lines. Then the tile is cleaned, a bonding agent is applied and several coats of hi-tech acrylic are used to finalize the refinishing.
